Vera was a very fun character to draw now I can't wait to ink and color her damn I hate my scanner to death :S *smashes* heh I'm still in the progress of buying a new but I'm going to have to suffer with this crap alittle while longer :S my scanner sicks!!! leaves blank streaks across the pics :'( sorry everyone. I hope miss Barachan like this........enjoy
my scanner did that, too, before i killed it and got a new one, bwahaha. this is really cool. :3 i like the details, it's very good overall.
though, if i may, since this is a sketch that hasn't been inked yet, could i offer some constructive criticism? her body, the torso especially, is at a 3/4-view angle, so the chair shouldn't be at an exact side-view, but show a bit of the seat as well as a clear view of the legs on the other side. same with the table. her leg closest to us is just sort of floating in mid-air.. the knee is a bit too round and from the knee down it's far too short compared to the leg on the table. i've done a redline to illustrate my point [link] (hope it helps!).

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
